Bored-er
I was showering and I was thinking when the week would be over.
Strangely enough or not, this one month break is strangling me.
I've always recognize myself as somebody with a purpose, somewhere to go, something to do and somehow busy.
The lull period of me slacking around has been rather moody for me. Mundanity.
For the past 3 days, I went to a visitation (will blog about it more next entry) to see how the lecturers are still breathing, met up with a couple of Aaron's friends to increase my social network and read 3 novels, courtesy of Wen Jun.
The novels are excellent. I've read them back to back about a shopperholic.
If you really must know, the author is Sophie Kinsella and I think she should be richer than J.K. Rowling.
Then again, my next book would be one of the Harry Potter classics.
I love to read novels, be it fictional or non, about anthropology of the metropolitian life be it in Shanghai, London or New York.
I think the specific area that I'm REALLY interested in is consumerism.
I've thought about branching off to study psychology or become a marketer because I so wanna know what delves deep in the minds of what people are thinking about silly bubble tea or that Hermes scarf.
I've also develop this crazy notion of writing a novel while stuck behind bars at Tekong.
I digress. One of my crazy interest is consumer behaviour, and that's why shows like Survivor & Big Brother has such an appeal to me.
How people think. How people make decisions. How people stab a dagger in your back without a whim.
Pseudo-psychologist,
