21st Birthday Celebration

(Warning: Loads of photos........ be patient)

Venue : Aranda Chalet
Date : 13th August
Event : Moi's Birthday
Turnout: Marvellous

Booking in late at 1 am on Saturday (13/8) ... due to Artillery Institute parade, I hastily checked in and slumped onto the comfy queen sized bed after a quick trip to purchase beer n snacks.

Woke up and went to meet syndicate 3 for lunch at Suntec, the infamous Kuishin-Bo.

If ya remember the jingle, it's 'tong tong tong 1 2 3, we are Kuishin-Bo .....'

Well, it's quite expensive (I paid $27) but the variety of buffet is damn good.

A must try for all!

Candy floss snot!

Open Wide!

Syndicate 3 rockz

After a satisfying lunch, went over to Bugis to have a quick meet up with Daphne at her cosmetic counter to chat with her and to REMIND her to come later and not to be LATE.

The Hainanese Genes

Too bad Apple wasn't free to come down coz she was working night shift. Darn.

Met up with my Pop to go pick up my ice-cream cake and picked Shirley up on the way.

Look like couple hor....

Miss Shirley Lim has been a close chum of mine since way way back in Secondary school.

Almost 7 years liao. Miss Lim is gonna graduate soon from RMIT lor and gonna be a career businesswoman wor~~~

Looks like I need to do some catching up when I get out of the goddamn army.

Aaron n Irene turned up soon after. Known them since poly le.

Trying to act hunky :P

Me getting to close for comfort with Irene

Too bad Vernon n Eugene couldn't turned up. Pity =(

My LONG LOST SECONDARY SCHOOL frens turned up. The self-proclaimed 4 Musketeers.

L-R: JM, Me, Ian n Yuen Keong

Back in Sec 3-4, we always hung out together but now all 3 already ORD (me jealous...) and now are in local unis.

Sorry guys couldn't entertained yall so late coz me was playing mahjong but could hear from the conversation till 4 am that yall were catching up.

Will get dinner with yall 1 day, I promise.

My BMT mateys came down early too !!! It's almost exactly a freaking year in the army and it's some sort of reunion for all of us.

Ivan, my twin bro with the same exact birthdate/signature/tooth struture/foot size as me who's now a Signal Spec.

Alex, the high flyer now in ADA, comissioning together and has good news for us becoz his application to be a pilot is successful. Gooda news!

Kumar, the marblah as our PC Wong used to tease him, is now back in good ol' Delta as a Sargeant.

Sorry guys I can't attend all your birthdays coz me will be in Thailand. I owe yall a BIG BIRTHDAY TREAT.

Delta Pl 4 Sec 2: Ivan, Me, Alex n Kumar

DMC mates turned up too, exclusion of Wendy (late, as usual), Tiffany (Hong Kong), Wen Jun (who couldn't excuse herself from another chatlet), June n Clara (Australia earning their degrees), Eva & Felicia (family crisis).

Eric, Angie (Eric's new GF), Aaron, Gwenne, Me, Ivan, Mei Fen n Yannie

Thanks for turning out peeps, great to see yall again. Dunno when we'll meet up again. Hope to see one another in the industry.

My cozzies also came. Shirleen who turned 21 last week n Shu Fang who's getting married end of this year! Wow, we're growing too old !

Me n my Cozzies

Not forgetting Aunt May, Faith, Daphne n Charlie, who were fashionably late but nonetheless, made the cake cutting ceremony. TY Aunt May for graciously cutting the ice-cream cake with a rather useless stainlees steel knife.

Aunt May, Daphne, Faith n Me

Charlie - the dog has grown fatter rounder

Of course, last but not least was my dear family.

Mom and Dad, this wouldn't have been possible without ur support. I love ya! Although yall will never get to read this, it's heartfelt to know yall are always there to support me.

Mark & Pauline, thanks for offering me any assistance esp mahjong logistics and stuffz.

My family - can't live without them

Everyone finally gathered and the cake cutting commenced!

Birthday song and make a wish ...... Won't blog about it or it won't come true right?

The luscious B-day Cake

The cake was pre-ordered from Gelare, costing 108 bucks for 2.8 kg, it's a must order for all !!!

Some went for 2nd or 3rd helpings even though they have expanding waistlines (i.e. Me... my father, my brother, Aaron, Yan Wen...) haha :P

So, officially, I'm 21 le.

So had some side show entertainment for the unsporting girls.

As promised, I wanted to play Twister ... and only the guys played. It's damn fun to play lor~

I was having their arses in my face most of the time

After Twister, was mahjong. As usual, I won. :P Wendy n her date, Asst. Superintendent Sam turned up. Didn't manage to take a shot but thanks for coming !!!

Daphne, Faith n Me having some goofy fun

After everyone has gone, I sneakily opened all my prezzies.

Well, it feels like an early Christmas for me.

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE PREZZIES I LURVE THEM!!!!

My new toy is the shade of Siesta Orange

My Olympus camera was in the dumps and this Casio Exslim Card is DAMN GOOD. Like orgasmic wonderful. It's slim enuff to bring out and the battery life is STUPENDOUS.

Before booking into camp, met up with Aaron, Irene n Vernon @ Billy Bombers.

My My, what big mouths they have

Who can stop them with such big BURGERS

Aaron was having yucky meatloaf

Nostalgic Irene - Bo Ying Ren - Sharon Au look

Monograph of Vernon getting drunk on root beer

Booking in wasn't fun after what I went thru.

Took some snapshots at MacRitchie reservoir where we had a Formation Cross Country Run.

The new Artillery Institute was overall champion. Cadets running like road runners.

The flame burned on

The gunners with the legs of GOLD

Bday Chalet Preview

Not much time before I'm gonna book in.

Just have to say. I had a WHALE of a time at my Birthday Chalet.

A big thank you to all who graced their prescene, really appreciate it ya !!!

Another big thanks for the prezzies, they are simply wonderful !!!! They are ALL from the wishlist wahahaha !!!

Although officially I'm not 21 yet, to me it already is.

Everbody that's important to me who made it and that I cared about was there (except for those overseas la and those who have crisis...)

To me, being 21 is a momentous occassion where it is a celebration of not only my adulthood but to see the gathering of close friends and relatives all at once.

It's just simply delightful.

I have DOZENS of pics which I have no time to post up, will do a proper blog entry with the Pics with my new camcam and text that befit the occassion.

Glorious food!

Blog abt it next week,
Ben

P.S. I have all the photos in my lappie, will send to the relevant peeps thru msn when I see ya online next week tata~

Chalet prep

There's so much thing to do when it's a one man show !

Trying to prepare for my chalet can be hectic.

Cake, mahjong tables, catering and logistics of getting peeps there.

Very disappointed at some people who can't make it.

It might be a small thing to you that your prescene won't affect the mood of the party but it's my 21st Birthday chalet.

I want all the people in my life who I cared about to be there, right ?

Well if you think I'm not that important to ya, then maybe you're not that significant to me then ......

I guess one sees the true colours of the rainbow as they age.

Upset but determined that the party will still rage on,
Ben

My Birthday Wishlist

I'm compiling this wishlist for the sake of myself and for the peeps that are going to my Bday chalet.

I'm a very practical person, Virgo mah, so I hope, the emphasis is on hope is that maybe you all can abide by the what I want and what I don't want.

A bit self-centred to ask frens for what I want but rather than frens cracking their brains for what I want and getting something I might not even use, I save them the trouble to tell them what I already have and what I desire.

It just makes the celebration that more practical n worthwhile. For me lor.

If you think I'm an ego bastard that will be posting up expensive stuff.

You're WRONG.

Also if you select something on the list ya want to buy for me, SMS me so I'll remove it from the list so I can tell other peeps not to buy repetitive stuff for me.

Imagine if I get 2 books of the same title, then 1 use for Toilet Paper ah? No rite, well I think you get my drift. And I will add in the specifics of what I'm going for rather than a gaudy colour or some lofty design which is appaling for me. :P

Here's the wishlist of what I desire for:
(In no particular order....)

1) Crumpler messenger/laptop bag (a bit too funky for my age... let me relive my youth can!!!)

This link has a lot of designs: Crumpler

I would prefer the colour brown, beige, orange or white, preferably the range of Cheesy Disco and Crisp Suit. Don't get me black or blue bags, I have enuff of that.

A weekend bag to town

Cost:Approx $130~

2) Brown/Beige sneakers from Puma or Diesel

My feet size is US 10.5, if you're intending to buy for me shoes, keep the receipt just in case lor ....

Clubbing sneakers

Preferences: don't get leather for me hor ... suede sneakers is nice enuff.

Cost:Approx $100~

3) Books by Ben Elton or Mike Gayle

Books I wanna read!!!

I've only read 'Dinner For Two' by Mike Gayle and 'Past Mortem' by Ben Elton. So get the rest of their collection for me. A book is enuff for my intellectual hunger.

Cost:$16.90/book

4) Vouchers

For convenience sake, I would gladly accept vouchers. CK Tang, Zara, Heeren. Just don't get me KTV/spa vouchers.

Cost:In dominations of $10, $20 or $50.

5) Beige old school aviator shades

You can get me Ray-bans or go to Bugis get me. Cheap cheap. $15. Just don't get me elongated ones that are pointy one, it's hard to find nice frames.

Note that these frames ain't mine, they were borrowed

Cost:$15 bah ....

6) Non descript masculine jewellery

Contrary to what Wendy dislikes, I like accessories that are meaningless.

Metallic bracelet or rings are nice to adorn once in a while. Trying to act metrosexual mah, getting old liao.
Perlini's Silver

Cost:Ranges from $8-88 i estimate haha....

7) Singlets from P.O.A. or CK

Me going for the beach boy look, and since I have a constant tan from sitting around in classrooms, must wear singlets more !!! Preferably a wife-beater.

Cost: >$30

8) GV movie passes

I've been M.I.A. from the theatres lately, miss all the good shows. Must catch up with the entertainment industry. Sigh.

Cost: $9.50 a tix on weekends wor~

9) Boardshorts

In theme with my beach bum look, my waist is 30 (suprisingly) and I'm looking for brightly coloured boardshorts from Rip Curl or Quiksilver. No Billabong plz. Preference of orange, green or maroon.

Cost: >$69

10) Bang & Olufsen earphones

My Creative Zen is very lonely with pathethic ordinary earphones. I want B & O leh. Don't know how much they cost though. Must be earphones hor, not those cup mounds that cover your ear like snowmuffs.

Cost: Don't know

11) Fossil brown leather watch

Bought this for Ivan's birthday, then now I want haha. The range is damn nice at Heeren but it's damn ex. $120 lor.... Looking for a casual brown watch, nothing too classy though. Just not the ugly matrix range in black leather. yuckzs.

Weekend/Clubbing watch

Cost: >$120

This is the compiled list of what I DON"T WANT

1) Stuff toys
2) MP3 players - I got Zen liao.
3) Scented candles/fragrant soaps or anything from Body Shop
4) Stationary
5) Cologne/Bodywash
6) Spa/KTV vouchers
7) Polo tees - I have like 10 of them. Enuff is enuff.
8) Stuff you can buy from ebay or Yahoo! auctions. - a bit the err

Well that's the entire list of what I want or don't want.

Hope this helps your decision making process of what I want for my Bday.

Happy shopping,
Benjamin

Commissioning - Not mine

Before booking in last Sunday, went back to dear old SAFTI to see my buddies getting their swords.

I'm 3 months before I reach their status as they entered earlier then me and the return back to SAFTI has me in some sort of goose bumps.

Seeing the ushers in No.1, the feeling is just unbelivable.

It's like wedding day but not.

A feeling of suave-ness would sweep upon you when you don on the No.1 suit with the peak cap, looking fine and dandy.

Alas, it ain't my turn yet and all I can do is watch the parade.

Where by-now-2LT Zeng and Yeo are photographed on the parade square.

Left right left right left right left ....

Marching in a file .... Super sianz esp rehearsals

Comission Loh...

Especially at this part of the programme, I could feel the same exuberance of joy they felt when they throw the peak cap. 265 days of suffering.

It now gives me more urge, more energy, more to look forward to my own comissioning parade. I just can't WAIT !!!

Officers now... can't play play like kids in front of your men now hor

Feeling bar-less amongst them

I have to greet Eric .... Sir ...

High flyer Ivan with low flying arty cadet Ben

Back to the present, the last 2 weeks is Exercise FireTracker.

A Battlion planning exercise and it crack my brain into million shards before I regain my composure.

It's mind boggling I tell ya what a S2/S3 or a FSO has to do to create an Ops Order.

Today signals the end of the fortnight classroom exercise and went for TEWT yesterday to observe the ground.

Syndicate 3 (Men of TWELVE) - the highest point on our AO (Area of Ops)

Our syndicate is damn outstanding I tell ya. Everyone contributes and works like an oiled engine.

There might be a few squeaks here and there but our instructor, LTA Ong is the BEST.

The BEST. He is patient and well versed and it's a lil sad to see him go to SMU to further his studies.

Honestly speaking, he is the best senior person I have ever encountered. Sacarstic, witty, composed and smart. If there is one person in the army I wanna emulate, it's definently him.

I also took a 'Band of Brothers' photo on one of the prominent axis in our AO.

Pardon my amatuerish shots.

Not ready for war yet

It has been a positive learning environment so far as I go, the days are getting shorter as POP day nears.

60 days to be exact.

Just a lil props, I changed back to my old format as the previous format was hideous as text couldn't be seen. The main pic is pretty nice right? Hehe.

I'm doing up a birthday wishlish tmr ...

Regards,
Ben

Catching up

Met Gwenne, Clara and June at Bubble Tea House @ Bugis.

Gossipy gals + Me = Chitty chatty yakkity yak

A big MUACKS to June for arranging my Birthday chalet with her mom's membership.

And yes PEOPLE.

I'm turning 21 soon.

In about 1 month's time.

But I'll be in the depths of Thailand bushforest hunting squirrels for sustenance on Aug 31st and so......

I'm celebrating my B-day on Aug 13th. YaY !

Come to think about it, I never organize such things all by myself one.

So arranging the payment with the chalet managment (a big Thank You to my Dad for the sponsership) and the buffet (yes, a 9-course spread).

I just need to arrange some entertainment (i.e. stuff that all my frens can do instead of staring at one another who the fuck that guy/gal is staring at me for) which I have bought Twister !

I make sure my dad & mom plays this too...

I think I'll be having some Trivia interactive session aka The Weakest Link so all my frens from different aspects of my life will bond together.

Or at least I can hope.

NO fantasy Amazing Race thing for now, too messy and I got no time to plan.

Also read that Wendy's blog got hacked but she somewhat recovered it by now. Haven't spoke to her yet but everything is back to normal.

It's also gonna be a busy half of the year for moi. I'm like studying army tactics for Battalion level and having an exam this Monday and stress siaz. Going Thailand and I can't wait to comission.

The feeling is just KILLING me. Argh.

Anyway pretty photos of the HUNK n BABES:~

Voila

I'm back with a BANG !!!! Woohoo !!!

Amazing right? I thought it will take centuries for me to take my snail fingers to redo my blog but see....

In 6 hours, the transformation is .....

More faces of me posted everywhere.

Yes, I sibei hiao lor.

Must find a theme mah then my blog is hinging on Face 2 Face with Reality & Reality Bites Back, so I put my face EVERYWHERE.

So everyone will know its my blog.

Call me names. Vainpot. Flowerpot. Whatever.

I got so many pictures and I decide to utilize them all.

Anyway I got nothing to hide. All my distorted and botak face for the world to see.

Fits the theme on the dot.

Well now that I got my online situation settled, time for me to pack up my room.

I believe my blog is more refreshed, even though it's still BLUEY.

I'm damn proud of my html editing skills. Kudos to me.

An aching neck,
Benjamin
Reality check

Yeah yeah, I've not been blogging much due to army and my weekends are either chilling out with frens or sorting out random aspects of my life.

My blog is getting stale period.

Worse than the custard decomposed fish.

But first of all, I'm gonna repack my entire room becoz of the shifting of every single furniture and throw away every trash in my room.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for Spring Cleaning.

Will be reviving the layout of my blog in 1 month's time.

Construction in progress,
Ben

Joy

I had wonderous fun this weekend.

It was Ivan's birthday chalet @ Arnanda & caught with the working class mateys. And went to Sentosa with Miss Wendy.

Terrible sinful fun I had.

Snapshots

Doing a bit of revival blogging.

Displaying what a shitty cum interesting life I lead.

I'm living a 5 hour weekend. Father's day is just a quick trip home and back.

Booking in soon. Misery of an Arty cadet. Sad but true.

Hiatus

I'm taking a break from blogging for now.

Till I certain out my life that is.

My life is as boring as a grannie's panties with nothing to show and smelly to boot.

My passion for writing has wiltered down.

Reason: I don't know, but I shall attribute it to armylife, sucking up the essence of my youth.

Also heard got government agencies wor~, go scan blogs one, skarly fine my one how ?

Not that I have ANYTHING discriminating but I think I just wanna take a break and sort out the fragments of my life for now.

Until then,
Ben

Being Good

For this 3-days away from camp, I'm going to be a studious army boy.

I'm going to S T U D Y.

Just imagine vectors, angles, sin cosine & tangent placed in complex problem sums.

If I fail, I'll be slapped hard in the arse for 'failure to comply with standards'.

Going thru the lessons and revisions, it's very taxing on the brain day in day out hearing figures and formulas on the whiteboard from 9am to 9pm.

At the very least, I don't feel dumb anymore, as I see a larger picture of the role that I have to play if I'm placed admist the battlefield unlike the infantry which is a 'minor manouevre' force.

Lately too, I feel my life is a bore.

Look at my blog and all you can read is whinings about in-camp life.

I need some spice in my life.

I've thought of not procrastinating on my driving lessons and take up Japanese lessons for the minute possibility that I wanted to be a future air steward (you can stop laughing now).

Whatever possibilites there might be, there is an Aussie uni fair next week with my bunkmates and I think I'll be submitting a few applications to see where I'm granted admittance and I'll take my pick from there.

I'm counting down to October 1st. Commissioning parade.

Only then can I heave a sigh of relief of the ordeal that I placed myself into and look positively for the future ahead.

Studious and be-spectacled,
Benjamin

B-day planning

I spent my Saturday avoiding my little white file of numbers.

Attending birthday parties and catching up with friends, 24 hours of Saturday just gone in a poof.

Time is so short when you're having fun.

My FDM test is next Monday and my understanding of the topic borders on the line of bewilderment and blur.

In 1 word. Screwed.

Oh, and I have to start planning for my 21st birthday party.

I will be in Thailand during my 21st birthday so I either have a belated b-day party or post-B-day party which would most probably be at a chalet.

I have a dream, a wish actually and hopefully I can fulfill it on my 21st birthday party.

I've always aspired to be a reality show director.

Hence, I'm planning to organize a Reality show where all my friends & family will participate in a reality show format that I arranged at the chalet prior to the night party where everybody will be fussing over the BBQ & keeping themselves self-entertained.

If you're wondering, it'll be Amazing Race cum The Weakest Link cum Survivor cum Fear Factor cum The Apprentice style.

And yes, I've put some tentative thoughts on what to do and what equipment I need.

Which btw, is video camera equipment becoz I intend to FILM it and then EDIT it so it shall be my very own self-made reality show.

The logistical problem would be getting everyone participating to be ON TIME and FREE THEIR SCHEDULE and be proactive.

Will see how lar, if any of my frens reading this and is interested, leave a comment on the shoutbox or feedback, at least I know of the interested parties.

I only wish for my dreams to come true.

Benjamin
Math

Nope, I didn't do a Copperfield.

I'm still blogging but lately, 'commitments' to army means I have more tasks and responsibilities that disallow me to blog as often as I like.

I don't know whether it's my computer but I can't seem to see any images on my blogsite.

I'm not sure what's happening to blogger or is it some setting in my IE that I set accidentally but just staring at text can seem a bit boring leh.

If anybody knows what's the problem, please SMS me or email me.

Life in camp has been mind taxing lately.

It's like 'A' maths lessons again back in Secondary school only this time, it's a pressure cooker situation with 8-5 every weekday, new topics each day.

I'm struggling to keep up with the Math. Sigh.

I have LOADS of homework and have lots of side tasks to do.

Will blog more later, have to head for the books.

To blog or not to blog?

That is the question.

A state-funded scholar posting racist remarks on his blog and another student being sued due to discriminatory remarks. read about it...

If you've been paying attention to the Singaporean Blogsphere, you can certainly feel the heat of the ongoing drama of the small world bloggers live in.

I know one thing for sure.

There is no anoymity on the net unless you set up a website or post your entries on some pseudo names like Kitty333 or ImSoAnoynomousYouCanTcatchmoi.

But we all know the abscene of a certain identity would result in a lesser of a certain credibility.

Bloggers have a voice and that's why they blog about it.

In a way, we're gatekeepers.

Like MediaCorp or Singapore Press Holdings, the blogger's appeal to a niche audience make them mini gatekeepers of what the audience will be reading.

For some bloggers, they have an extensive audience and what they say or express could possibly have an 'influential shift of impression about the person/topic/situation of the partaking audience.

That said, freedom of speech has now been scarred from the abovementioned incidents and frankly, I myself am more wary of what my fingers dance upon on my QWERTY keyboard.

My thoughts on the above events coincedentally clashed when Ivan mentioned stuff about my blog.

Being a fellow officer-to-be in the SAF, Ivan mentioned whether I should remove my blog all together or make it private because the men/privates/soldiers that I will be leading in future will know my entire existence of how I feel in a website.

I've been pondering about this situation alot.

People that I know vaguely would know about my innate thoughts which in turn represent that people would know me more better than they should know.

It's a bizzare situation, I tell ya.

Imagine if someone on the street came up to ya and asked you about some random topic you blogged about and there you'll be dumbfounded having the slightest clue of the identity of the person talking about you.

It's a terrifying feeling if you have vivid imagination like me.

Essentially, that is part & parcel of being a public blogger.

A blogger can be one who shares his/her inner feelings to ANYBODY that's reading and the hazard of it all is that the people who read about it is people you don't want to at all.

It all boils down to the question of the lifetime:

To blog or not to blog?

My vehement reply.

YES

My beliefs still stand unshaken, I'm still entitled to my freedom of speech.

I'm entitled and that also means I'm restrained with that privilege since I'm born under the white shirt kingdom Republic of Singapore.

My rights are set in the Constitution and ignorance of what law exists is only bullocks. Be ascertain of what you know before you type duh! Or face the consequences.

That means I know what my legal boundaries are if I have to type negatively about how I feel regarding certain people/organization.

Nonetheless, anything about me will still still remain as it is.

My anxieties, my aspirations, my qualms, my hopes, my fears.

There is nothing to hide, I made public of the kind of human being I am.

My personality is such that I'm an open person with no some skeletons that I keep privately stashed.

Everyone has their skeletons, some may open the doors and share it with the world or some will just bury it with them to their graves.

Blogging has already integrated into my lifestyle.

I've already forgot why I began blogging in the first place.

Be it my innate ability to share with the world out there on what I to say or my aching ability to just type endlessly & mindlessly, I'll never find out.

I'll blog whenever time permits, you could call it a routine or a hobby. I don't think I'll ever stop myself from being heard of whoever wants to read about it.

Lengthy issue aside, here comes my scoop about life as an Artillery Officer Cadet.

It's tough I tell ya.

Many perceive life in the Artillery which is classified under the support side as 'senang' or 'slack'.

They are so wrong.

The preview in the first week was already hell-ish enuff.

You have to know the equipment, the complicated maths that comes with it and you're faced under the scrutinity of time of making accurate calculations.

Coupled with the fact that there is still physical training to keep fit and the stress factor of regimentation, I'm starting to to feel the crunch.

Nonetheless, I like the vocation because I'm more of a thinker than a physical person. More brainpower than brawn.

The shitty thing was I assumed that I was booking out early but the lengthy lessons were snowballed and the anitcipation built-up to book out was like a fireball.

When everybody booked out at 11pm, my gaze was like Superman's laserbeam eyes, slicing up anyone who was ready to snatch my cab.

I was angry because my friends were waiting for me to attend Wendy's birthday party.

I reached only at midnight past and almost everyone has left.

Save for my patient pals who were waiting for me (or the fact that they needed a mahjong kaki).

June & Me

June trying to take a shot of the forlorn Ivan who was losing loads of $$$ to me

If I forgot to mention, it was Wendy's 21st birthday and it was held at Changi haunted Aloha chalet

The busy birthday hostess has many guests so the bunch of us had to entertain ourselves with the tiles.

So all 4 of us guys, officer-cadets from DMC, each from a different vocation went into war into the battle of the 144 tiles.

Army (Me & Eric) vs Air Force (Ivan) vs Navy (Aaron).

SITREP (Situation Report)
The navy faced a diastrous loss whereas the Artillery & the Air Forces came up victorious !!!

BTW, Aaron is flying off to England (gasp!). He's gonna be a naval officer and get commissioned by some monarchy (gasp!)and rumour has it that it might be the Queen of England (gasp!).

How come nothing good is coming out of my life : (

Ironically, this morning, as I was bored out of tears with the fact that nothing good is coming out of my life, decide to put in some effort for my further studies.

I was doing research on the various universities that I might enroll myself in a UK uni.

I need a friggin application form from the British Council but it's closed today as it's Labour Day.

Gonna meet up with the Bunch for the movie Divergence. Hope it's as good as the media frenzy it cooked up.

Belated Happy Birthday Miss Cheng & Happy Mother's Day,
Benjamin
