Success

Unbelivable.

Everything went so well.

I cut my hair and went to to Sentosa Shangri-La at aroun 5.

Set up the goodie bags and changed up, it was already by then 630pm.

Everyone were at the garden lawn soaking in the atmosphere or having their galmour shots taken.

Wendy, my date, arrived on time and I picked her up from the hotel lobby.

Took loads of photos with my Arty pals and saw some old old friends.

The emcee was amazing, the 2 bands that played on stage were equally amazing and the FOOD was excellent.

Couldn't ask for more bah.

It was a splendid night and I believe everyone enjoyed themselves.

Disturbingly shocked

I had a half day off and so, I went down to NTU.

To see how campus life is like.

I met up with best fren JM and sat alongside with sec school matey Ian.

Engineering is definently not my forte .

To compare my poly life and the uni life I observe, uni life is so erm.....

Disrespectful?

I guess so bah.

Uni students are much more hardworking becoz they mug alot n do lots of projects.

But they utterly have no respect for their lecturers.

They talk loudly in lectures, they use handphones freely, they leave the lecture hall anytime they please.

Oh hell.

It's like their playground.

I NEVER EVER remember such a scenario happening in my lectures save for a few maggots.

Coming from SP, I find it utterly rude when the lecturer is trying his/her best to speak but the students are not responding receptively to his/her words.

Maybe it's their culture.

Or maybe it's just a hindsight.

Whatever it is.

I still want to join.

Join the muggers.

Hope my application to NTU will succeed or I gotta go overseas.

Sad but a sad fact of life.

I need the paper. I need the degree.

Recovery

I'm SO much better now.

Yes. Feeling like a normal human being who's only pressing matters is that I've just turned 21 and I have to pay income tax and vote for the next prezzie.

Seems like my blog has morphed into a photoblog.

Almost every entry of mine has gone to a vanity fair for me.

But first.

I've moved over to my new unit and I must say.

It's FANTASTIC as far as the eye as can see.

Maybe I haven't feel the stab of the military office politics yet and the burden of the black bar yet but it's mighty fine so far.

To get some new stuff for me new bunk, I headed to cheapo Carrefour with Yong Qiang.

Manage to get my cheapo clothes rack and cheapo rotating fan and my cheapo 6 pin extension plug.

Yes. Ben's a cheapo if you haven't noticed by now.

BUMPED into like so MANY people lor. Saw so many of the higher rank officers.

Saw LT Chan, or should I say, Hian Yi now (haha!) whom I had a one-to-one talk with.

A long time ago, back in my cadets day......

There was once, where I stood up to him, to oppose for Remedial Training on Saturday due to many various factors.

And there and there, for 3o mins, like the debator's society, each of us standing up to interrupt one another.

Both of us got frustrated becoz in the end, nobody got anywhere becoz the result ain't decided by us.

The result being: Remedial Training was definite. Coming back on a pathetic Saturday was imminent. Insufficient rest for everyone.

End of short recall of the past ......

So there I was at Carrefour, chatting with Hian Yi.

Since I hardly had any one-2-one time with him, I told him there n there if he had anything against me.

A bit blunt but I'm like that one.

I mentioned about the past and mentioned how he purposedly try to give me a WRONG POSTING, saying I went to some CLASSIFIED unit and make me KAN CHIONG that I'm going to COMMANDOS camp.

I trembled in fear while waiting for the REAL POSTING to be out.

As it turns out, what HY said was false.

I didn't trust Hian Yi one bit and had it out there on the sales floor of the electronic department at Carrefour.

But really, as drama as I put it, it wasn't lor.

We were having a really drama conversation till his parents had to give him a miss call to find him lor.

So yah, now that the air is cleared, time to shake hands.

We didn't quarrelled hor but we had a very hearty talk about what happened and we end up where we are now.

I don't hate him la and he has no negative feelings about me lol.

After I got my army stuff, went over to ....
