Gold Coast and WoW

To sum up, it's been a long 5 days.

With barely 4 hours of sleep, I went to meet my pal Aaron at his hotel.

He was still shagged out from his flight into BNE.

It was raining cats and dogs literally so Movie World was a no no since it will be closed.

After dropping off my assignment at school, a last minute rush decision to head down to Harbour Town, a factory outlet selling past season stuff at basement prices.

So, we ran in the drizzle to the train station, to only miss it like 30 seconds.

So we sat at the station's Mac and had a hearty lunch before catching the 1 hour train down to the Coast.

Trust me, it was a very looooooooong journey.

So looooooooooong that Aaron took a nice peaceful nap with hardly any disturbance except for some chatty bunch of Koreans a couple of seats away from us.

After departing at the station, waited for another bus for 30 mins plus.

Yes, the transport system here is rather unfriendly to everyone. The bus that was due only turned up 20 mins later. Really sianz ji puah.

Anyway, the highlight was the shopping of course as lots of stuff was cheap.

I got a flip flops for 7 bucks, and a few tees and a pair of shoes. It was under 100 bucks overall but quite a haul for me.

Aaron got a few ribbed singlets and two beach shorts, which were like 40% cheaper as compared to Singapore.

Made the way down to Gold Coast for Aaron to look see look see.

It's not much when its dark, but the beach is damn beautiful in the day. Stayed a while before making our way back to Brisbane, all tired out.

Lazy Aaron didn't wanna wake up for breakfast at Pancake Manor so we just settled for lunch at Hanaichi Curry Chicken.

After which, went home to prepare for my somewhat farewell party. Invited Ludwig, Felix, Samuel & Andrew over with chips and coke as munchies.

We played 5 hours of the World of Warcraft board game, took a while to understand the rules but its really amazing and spectacular.

The pictures will speak a thousand words.
